Elizabeth Constance Wicket lives in a place not unlike where most people live and at a time quite remarkably similar the present day. She is not a character from one of those “once upon a time” kind of tales, but is, in fact, a very real little girl who lives and breathes-this is her story:
First, it is important to know that no one calls Elizabeth Constance Wicket, Elizabeth Constance Wicket, except her mother (and only when very cross) or those individuals who wish to find themselves on the rough and tumble side of Elizabeth Const … er, Libbie Wicket. She is and has always been Libbie. Once, a very unfortunate little boy made the mistake of attempting to give Libbie the nickname “Sticky Wicket,” which resulted in the sudden and premature departure of several of his baby teeth …
We all have a Libbie Wicket within us – though she may be called Julia or Richard or Oliver. Libbie is the spirit of wonder and adventure and love more commonly referred to as “childhood.” It is an indelible spirit that thrives on those moments in which we-women, men, boys, and girls-allow ourselves to truly take in the fantastic world that surrounds us. At Libbie Wicket, it is our aim to capture those moments and provide our clients with images that remind them of that wonder which resides within us and surrounds us all.
