Hello all! It’s Caroline again. Since you’ve figured out our love of all things Pinterest I thought I’d share a few of the lovely images that Elizabeth took at my son’s first birthday party! What party is complete without a billion Pinterest inspired goodies, decorations, etc.? As some of you know, he was born on Leap Day last year. We decided to honor that with his first birthday party by going with a frog theme. Get it? Leap day… frogs… hardy har har. Anyway, the invitation read “Hop on over and join the fun, our Leap day baby is turning one.” The dessert table had cupcakes with adorable froggy cupcake toppers (thanks, Etsy!), “mud dip” for pretzels and cookies, some lollipops that looked like cattails, green “pond water” juice, and some thank you baggies with mints (so you didn’t leave with frog breath. LOL) and more. I also found THE cutest frog headbands and magnifying glasses in the dollar section at Target (booyah). We had a great time, so many wonderful friends and family members showed up to shower our baby with love. It was awesome! I just looked around at one point and felt overwhelmed with blessings. He is a very loved child! A very special thanks to Elizabeth for capturing these moments on his special day. We will forever cherish them!
