We interrupt the sneaky sneak peeks to catch you up on a few sessions. Good grief things here have been so busy lately. I, as most of you know, thrive on busy. However, these past two weeks are little overkill on the crazy busy side. I am  looking forward to telling you all my secrets and getting my groove on working with clients, new and old, in the upcoming weeks!

Any long time readers will know this family right away! Big brother C. was a newborn client of mine a few years ago. Just as we were finishing his “babies first year” plan- his mommy found out that C. would soon be a big brother (enter little V.) Photographing V.’s first year was awesome and now it is fun to see the family as a whole for sessions!

g
Meet V. who cried through a session or two in his younger years. He was happy and lovely and so much fun on this day. Good thing as I was beginning to take it a little personally… :)
f
Meet C. who is always so wide eyed as if he is really taking it all in. On this day I think he said “no” (as in NO!!!!) about 30 times or so. Seems that, according to mom, he has fallen victim to the terrible three’s. Both my boys had them to. Such a shame for a cute kid! LOL!
h
When photographing two little boys at the same time.. you better have them actively doing something or else they easily bore with you!
g
Good thing we found this water for them to play in! However, as I began to pick C. up and put him in the water, mom gasped. Seems that I was heading right towards the big snake whose water we were in! From that moment forward, we all had one eye on the snake (who at times was swimming in the water) and one eye on the boys. I think all the rock “skipping” scared the snake to stay on his end of the stream until we left.

day 2 of the big news…

atlanta children's photographerMom described this beautiful child as “earthy”. She is child number three and we all know how laid back that child typically is. Miss M. was no exception. She was laid-back, adoring of  all the animals we saw, amd so much fun to photograph! It was a treat to hang out with her!

two-years-old {mableton, georgia children’s photographer}

A little over four years ago I had my first session with this family. At that time it was just little J. who had just turned one. Since then we have had quite a few more sessions- in fact, one a year. Now, when I head over to their house, I just plan accordingly so that mom and I will have time to catch up a little after the session. The mornings I spend with this family are favorites for me!atlanta children's photographer
This year mom decided she wanted to concentrate on the siblings relationship as well as capturing the ins and outs of the “moments’ they share.atlanta children's photographer

Big brother is at an age where he is silly and fun while little sister is sweet, coy and sensitive. Can you see any of that in the image below?

It was so cute when R. picked up the umbrella. I am quite sure it has had lots of use over the past couple of months in Atlanta. Big brother is awesome at blowing the bubbles!

I feel blessed a million times over to have clients whose company I truly enjoy. Each April/May I look forward to seeing how much the children have grown and to hear the any new exciting news (wink, wink).

“We really want images that show how happy we are as a family.” Those are great words that I hear often from my clients. I love to capture just that- the happiness of being a family! With this family- it was amazingly easy to do. Both mom and dad are passionate about their little fella and the connection they share was obvious!
k
This is an all time favorite image for me! I knew it the minute my shutter snapped. I was going for an image of his little feet and when he bit his Daddy’s ear- I clicked!
k
Mom and Dad are like college kids. Happy in love with each other, life and their little guy!
h
Another BEAUTIFUL Mommy!

Do you think this is a happy one-year-old? Yep- he is secure, loved and well taken care of!

This family has long been a favorite of mine. I have watched big sister C. grow over the past couple of years and it is exciting to now be a part of the newest addition to the family. A brand new baby boy… which is always nice when you already have a little girlie girl running around! Meet Mr. Q. at a mere seven days of age…
u
Sweet, sweet big sister who was patient and easy to work with (trust me this is not always the case when a new sibling has recently been introduced).

It was a lovely day to go outside. So, in between rain showers we headed out!

I leave you with a favorite from the session! Love the baby yawn…
