For the past year and a half, I have been so lucky to have the world’s best assistant. I honestly feel that God placed her right here at the very right time. She has been a blessing to me in so many ways.

Early this year Caroline and her husband decided it was time for them to begin their own family. It was a very happy Summer day when Caroline found out that she indeed was expecting a baby in February of 2012! Whoohoo! I am so excited for them.. they really, honestly will be the best parents EVER!

It has been lots of fun for me to walk through this pregnancy with Caroline. Many a day I have spent time reflecting on my pregnancies with my boys and even my paper pregnancy with my sweet girl! I have loved the memories her pregnancy is stirring up in me and I feel honored to be by her side as she experiences each “ah-ha”!

Once she had the date to find out the sex of the baby, we knew we wanted to do something to document the “finding out”.  On the day of the ultrasound they took the results to Caroline’s mom and she filled the adorable, handmade box with the correct colored balloons. {I know that trip from the ultra sound to the studio must have been a hard one knowing that they were just minutes away from finding out and fighting the urge to take just a little peek}

We got the box ready and I got ready and then:

They were both shocked! Both of them had been convinced it was going to be a girl…. I love the look on Bryan’s face!

Congratulations Caroline and Bryan. I am praying for you both and for this baby boy! I can’t wait to meet him in 2012!
