My first newborn of 2011 was eager to meet the world. In fact, he must have been very eager to steal the spotlight because not only did he arrive 6 weeks early- but he arrived on Christmas day. Everyone, meet baby Alex!
I bet these adorable brothers are going to have a close bond as they grow up together. Amazingly, with Alex’s early arrival, they are only 9 months apart! Mom and Dad are thrilled to have their very own set of “irish twins”.
Love those sweet little toes and the froggy belly! Being a “premie” hasn’t hindered Alex at all. He’s a healthy and growing baby boy.
This blessed Mama really cherishes her two 2010 babies. Luckily for her they are SO sweet and easy. We were very impressed at how mellow Alex is and I know Mom and Dad love it too.
This is the cutest, most descriptive, image of the session. Life with two little ones will be hectic but its these sweet moments that make it all worth it. Good luck in the coming months and we look forward to watching those boys grow!
One of my favorite little ladies recently celebrated her first birthday! Of course, we had to celebrate and have a little photo session.
This family has a great bond and I always enjoy experiencing their love first hand. What a lucky Mama! 
Little H loves her Mom to pieces and didn’t even want her own birthday session all about her! She wanted it to be all about her and Mommy.

Allow me to introduce you to another new little piece of blog goodness- “where am i?”. Every so often I will post on the Libbie Wicket Facebook page a picture of a local restaurant that I am currently enjoying. Feel free to make guesses on the location, or sing it’s praises if you know the answer! Following said post, I will blog about my experience there. We all know that there are endless restaurant options throughout the Atlanta area, so this should be fun! Hope you enjoy!
This go ’round, I was at West Egg Cafe. Located in the new White Provision Residences building at the corner of Howell Mill and Brady Avenue, this restaurant has more style and personality than could be explained in words. I met my friend Kelly there for breakfast and we both enjoyed eggs, grits, turkey sausage and a biscuit along with a few FABULOUS cups of coffee! This place has an awesome vibe, great service and really yummy food. They are open for breakfast. lunch and dinner so I am looking forward to having dinner there some date night in the near future.
After breakfast was over, Kelly and I headed over to the BRAND spanking new Anthropologie that is located across the street from West Egg. I am a huge fan of Anthropologie … from the clothes and linens to the magazine… it is all so wonderful! I bought a new lilac and white striped sweater for Spring… I am holding out that Spring will actually be here some day soon.
So, if you have some time to spend with a friend- I would highly suggest this as the perfect morning. I hope you all have a great rest of the week!
So, as promised, for 2011 we are going to really amp up the Libbie Wicket blog! One thing you can look forward to each month is a little “what to wear” post with clothing ideas for sessions. We frequently have clients asking what they should wear so we felt that sharing these tips would be helpful for all.
For January we focused on “wintry” colors like blues, grays and purples. As you can see, not every person needs to wear the same color but instead can wear a color that will compliment the colors in the outfits they will be surrounded by. Another tip is don’t be afraid of patterns and textures! Obviously everything needs to coordinate (so PLEASE don’t put someone in loud plaid and someone else in bright stripes, lol) but that doesn’t mean it has to be boring…
We hope that this little visual aid can help get your creative juices flowing when it comes to dressing your families for sessions and keep a look out each month for more clothing ideas to come!
What a crazy way to kick off this new year! I know none of us expected to be iced in our homes for an entire week but, hey, it was good quality family time and a chance to be a kid again.
