It’s time for another fabulous one year old’s birthday! I still can’t believe all these babies are turning one already. This easy going family is a joy to work with and we always manage to have a good time! However, little Marshall wasn’t as stoked about his big, birthday session as we were. He, like many of my one year olds lately, just wanted to be left in peace to play with his family! They are what make him happy. :) family of four in the grass
Of course this family is what makes the little guy happy- look at how loved he is!little boy with dad, brother, and mom
See? Lots of time with family = happy Marshall. He’s SO cute with those sandy curls and sweet grin!little blond boy
Now, this is what happens when my one year olds DON’T get what they want (editors note: the clown cake didn’t help)….little boy with birthday cake
Not to worry, he was just having a little “teething meltdown”, and I don’t blame him. That cannot be a fun thing to go through! We got many wonderful shots of the family so it was still a happy and successful session. Big brother wasn’t fazed a bit!little boy in a fieldThe beautiful scenery is always a great distraction! I love the look on the little guy’s face. Thanks for a great morning, gang!family looking at horses

hoppy easter!

This day….was…..gorgeous! As you can see from the beautiful images (if I do say so myself) Mother Nature decided to be sweet to us. Not only was I blessed with great weather, but also with a great family. It’s easy for me to capture the beauty of a family when they have a great bond and a strong sense of love for each other, like these folks.

I could go on and on about how much I enjoy this family, but I must stay focused on the star of this session- little Stella! I was lucky enough to be asked to photograph Stella as a newborn and wouldn’t you know it, she’s already a year old now! Time sure does fly by. She is SUCH a gorgeous little gal.

I ADORE this picture of this sweet brother and sister pair. Such a great moment to capture and document.

These two are cute as can be and super sweet. I’ve really enjoyed watching them grow over the last year.

I also love how much little Stella is looking like her Mama these days. Such a beauty!

I can’t talk about this session without showing off this precious image of the kids playing on with their Daddy. {grins}

So, if you couldn’t tell by now- I’m very much in love with this session. It was a beautiful day, a wonderful family, and a happy experience. I always look forward to working with them and I look forward to our next rendezvous together. Thank you!

….ok, one last one of Stella….

session share: one fine day

One of my favorite soon-to-be FIVE-year-olds was kind enough to spend the morning with the ladies of Libbie Wicket! Mr. Collin is growing up so fast (don’t they all?!) and it was hard for me to believe we were photographing his “5 year session” already.

Mom and Dad have always been such loving and attentive parents and, of course, were there to help us document this special birthday.

And what would a family session be without baby sister? Little Hailey is growing up mighty fast too. She loved being pulled around in the wagon by her favorite big bro.

Aren’t these two just precious? I loved capturing this moment. What kid doesn’t like playing in/on a box? So cute!

Once again, we can check of a wonderful milestone with a beautiful family portrait session. I love being a part of all these memories!

session share: I’m a big kid now!

This session was a walk in the park! Ok, hardy har har (we were at a park) but really it was such an easy session thanks to this great family.

Not only were mom and dad a pleasure to work with- but these handsome brothers were a breeze as well. Aren’t they good looking?
brothers outside in blueThese two are super sweet guys. It’s definitely a different experience for me taking pictures of older children, I kept wanting to sing “if you’re happy and you know it-clap your hands” when I should have been singing…um…something cooler? I don’t even know what that would be, haha.

Remember how I said this family was fun- this is what I mean… happy, sweet, silly parents who love their boys and visa versa.

And what would an afternoon in the park be without a good, old fashioned duck chase? These two are ALL boy.

I truly enjoyed the experience I had working with this family and I hope that our paths cross again some day! It was a pleasure working with you!

This sweet little man was truly a pleasure to work with. From the first image to the last- he was sweet, happy, smiley, and adorable. See?

I love getting to know new families and this particular morning was a pleasant experience for us all, especially little Shep and his buddy Big Bird. Awww…..

Again, the little guy was happy as can be, these images don’t lie! Go, Buddy, Go!

I am happy to welcome this new family as clients of Libbie Wicket. They are a great bunch and truly blessed with a sweet baby boy. I look forward to working with you again!
