Woman’s History Month, continued.

This sweet little girl is a long awaited blessing for this family. After years of waiting their miracle finally arrived, and boy was she worth the wait! This little angel slept the ENTIRE time we were there. Even through a feeding. Just so that we could take tons of sweet images for Mom and Dad to cherish. Wasn’t that nice of her?

This tiny one loved to stretch out those legs, as opposed to the usual curled up position of most newborns. Mom said she was well aware of that during her pregnancy, ha.

These parents sure are thrilled to finally meet their baby daughter. She truly us their little miracle baby!

Finally as we were leaving this little angel decided to opened her eyes. We just HAD to stop and pull the camera back out for one last shot. It was worth it! What a doll. I’m so looking forward to watching her grow into a beautiful little girl. Congrats to this much deserving family!

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this family for a few years now and I must say that we always have a good time together. I’ve enjoyed watching Avery grow and have helped them welcome and document their son, Jude, as well.

family of four on the lawn

Avery was only 6 months old when I did her first session and quickly she’s grown into such a beautiful little three year old.

Here’s an adorable trip down memory lane…on the left is Avery at 6 months, on the right is Jude at 8 months. Aren’t they the cutest?!

Jude was such a sweetie pie for this session. He was happy to have company come and play. What a little charmer!

Ok, one more trip down memory lane- it’s too cute not to! Avery on left, Jude on right. LOVE IT.

I look forward to my next play date with these sweet little pumpkin heads.

Sips N Strokes! The name may sound crazy but the only thing that’s crazy is the amount of fun you’ll have. You get a few girlfriends together, some wine and cheese, and you go to this “byob painting class”. It is easy as pie, the instructors help you step by step so there’s no “wrong” way to do it. It’s a great and unique girls night idea. Best of all you leave with your painting in hand! A great souvenir to keep for years to come. Check out their website here to try one near you!sips71

Women’s History Month! Make sure to keep an eye out for some fun facts this month as the ladies of Libbie Wicket celebrate “girl power”.

FUN FACT: National Women’s History Month dates back to March 8, 1857, when women from New York City factories staged a protest over working conditions. International Women’s Day was first observed in 1909, but it wasn’t until 1981 that Congress established National Women’s History Week to be commemorated the second week of March. In 1987, Congress expanded the week to a month. Every year since, Congress has passed a resolution for Women’s History Month, and the President has issued a proclamation.
