Today I took some time to fiddle around on the computer a little. I have so many family images that I have taken and never really had time to look at. I try to stay very organized when it comes to my personal images but often I just put them in a titled folder and do not really take the time to look through them. So, today I decided that I needed to clean up my desktop and organize my images a little. While doing this, I came across these three images which truly made me laugh out loud! Shipley and Eliza, my two youngest children, are two and a half months apart in age. They are very close and they play really well together. These pictures were taken back in October as I was leaving to take the two of them to pre-school. They were invited to dress up in costume for this day and I let them choose what they wanted to wear. Shipley choose his Spiderman costume from last year (I had a scarecrow costume for him to coordinate with Eliza) and Eliza choose her Dorothy costume. As you can tell, Shipley was none-to-happy to take time out of his morning to have his picture taken. Enjoy and I hope all of you are staying warm and cozy!

Halloween in February

I am very honored to be a part of this families story. They have been clients since the birth of big sister Lydie almost four years ago. Since then we have shared a lot of laughs and smiles and also some tears and sadness. Most of my readers will remember sweet baby mac. He is the second child for these parents and he was called to God only minutes after he was born. I was extremely blessed to be there to photograph his few minutes on earth and to bid him farewell until we meet again in heaven.

So, I was especially excited when I got the call that baby number three would be arriving in January 2010. What a treat it would be to welcome another child into this awesome family. All signs were good through the pregnancy and a very healthy baby Hudson arrived a week ago today.

This is a family deserving of so much love and happiness. My prayer is that this sweet baby marks the beginning of many wonderful days ahead for them.

letter canvas' by Elizabeth Smith of Libbie Wicket
February is the perfect time to introduce the latest product to grace the studio. These series of canvas’ are called the “love letters collection”. The letters at the top can spell your child’s name, a word that describes your child, or even your child’s initials or monogram. The canvas’ can be ordered in sets of three or more and the color can be customized to match the clothing in the images or to coordinate with the colors in your child’s bedroom.

These canvas’ are two inches thick so they really make a bold statement up on the wall.

I have these canvas’ propped against a wall in the studio. I was so excited when they arrived I took these pictures before I even hung them. So fun!
