Welcome to 2010 and welcome to sweet baby Christian! Photographing a brand new baby (six-days-old!) was a delightful way to begin the year!

I have not seen this family since last year when I photographed big brother Lucas. Lucas was just as charming as ever..willing to hold baby Christian and even kiss him on command. However, I must admit, the bribe of some t.v. time did help.

Sweet Christian was so excited about his session that he wanted to stay wide awake for all of it. However, a little milk and soon he could not fight off the sleep any longer.

This mom is such a beautiful lady! The relationship and bond between mother and child is always so touching to me.

I was all packed and ready to go but I was still hanging around enjoying some great conversation with mom and dad. When I looked at dad holding Christian, with the direct light streaming in, I ran to grab my camera for one last shot. This was the last portrait of the session- and one of my favorite.

I am now booking March 2010 and later. Please contact me now if you are expecting and are interested in a newborn session. Newborn sessions should be scheduled before the baby arrives so we can photograph the baby within the first two weeks of life.
