Where do you keep all the little momentous items you collect from each child? The newborn bracelet from the hospital, the first lock of hair, images from key moments in your child’s life, love letters from you to them and, one day, from them to you. This precious box not only serves the practical purpose of a place to gather all those items but it looks fabulous doing so. Once filled, opening this memory box will immediately transport you back in time to the tears, smiles and laughter of your child’s early years.

I love that you can add the child’s name and age on the side of the box. This is the horizontal keepsake box created with newborn images from a recent session.

Here is the vertical keepsake box featuring my very own child, Eliza.

I love how tall this box is- giving you plenty of room to fill it up!

This gives you a better idea of size. I placed my band on the top for size comparison.

These are now in the studio so you can see them the next time you are here. They are available for order immediately.

This couple is so wonderfully cute. They remind me of Jeff and me when we were expecting our first child, Slaton. The excitement and wonder at each and every baby related thing. Just a perk of my job that I get to work with fabulous people such as this.

Any guesses on what team this couple loves? They travel to Miami lots during football season… Hmmm, wonder if we should tell them that this Fall’s travel might be a little more complicated.

I am looking forward to meeting little Andre in the next couple of weeks. I have asked Dad to give me an up-close tour of all the new, cool baby products that exist now-a-day. Funny how outdated my product knowledge is since I have not had a little baby in the house in several years. It is time for me to get schooled on “hip baby products”.

Dear Daniel,

What a treat it was to meet you earlier this week. Do you realize that almost exactly two years ago I photographed your sweet big brother? He, like you, was a dreamy newborn with beautiful skin and long eyelashes. Look how his eyelashes have grown- I bet yours will look like this in two years.

It somehow seems unfair for boys to be blessed with such beautiful features.

Speaking of features, your precious little parts are so amazing. I love your hands with all the new little wrinkles and tiny little fingernails.
atlanta newborn portraits
Overall, you are perfect in every way!

In closing, I want to tell you that you are part of such an amazing family. Your very brilliant parents already adore every little thing about you and your big brother is excited to share his world with you.

Thanks for being such a great little bundle of joy for me.
Love,
Miss Elizabeth

welcome sweet newborn daniel!

What an honor it is for me to be able to welcome a new baby into the world and to capture that special moment in a families life. It is a triple treat to welcome three babes all at once!
Atlanta multiples photography
I have to say.. I have no idea how a momma does it with three little ones. However, Lindsay does it with grace, patience and love!
Atlanta multiples photography
I wish I could tell you that these babies are just this calm and peaceful all the time… but you would know I was fibbing. Right? This was about four hours into the session and we were all hot and tired from working hard. Finally God smiled on us and the babies all slept for just a few minutes AT THE SAME TIME! That right there is probably what makes parenting triplet newborns so tough- the lack of sleep!

These five-week-old beauties stole my heart!

Mason, Will and Elle- thank you for such a fun morning getting my fair share of baby love!

Many of you will recognize this little client. His mommy is my decorator and good friend. It has been a joy being able to photograph his first year.
atlanta child photographer
I ran into a sweet client this morning while at the doctors office with Slaton for his six-year-checkup. We were talking about how fast life seems to be flying by with our kids growing so quickly. I photographed both of her children when they were newborns and they are now two and four. She told me that one time someone told her, “When you have small children, the days are long but the years a short.” Ahh- so true, especially when you have little ones that require so much physical work. Thanks Laura for that great quote of wisdom!
Finn is the third child and the first boy in his family. He is so loved and adored and I think his mommy would be the first to say she is enjoying every moment with him.
atlanta child photographer
Cristina, Finn’s mommy, brought a cake for Finn to bust into and for me to take pictures of. However, we had quite a hard time convincing Finn how yummy that cake would taste. We tried everything and in the end Cristina ended up with the more cake on her than Finn had cake in his mouth!
atlanta child photographer
Do you notice the back of Finn’s hair and that wispy, sun touched hair? Cristina specifically did not cut his hair so we could capture it before the first hair cut. She knows that the first hair cut is often the first step from baby hood into toddler hood! The days are flying….
I leave you with a dirty Finn. He was not nearly as dirty as his momma but dirty none the less.

Let’s hear it for the birthday boy!
atlanta-child-photographer
Last year, for Taylor’s birthday, we photographed him at the baseball fields. Taylor is athletic and very into all “boy things”! So, the baseball fields were the perfect fit for him.
This year, mom and I decided to go down to the river for Taylor’s session. Do you know any four-year-old boys who don’t love water, rocks, mud and sticks?
atlanta-child-photographer-2
Taylor was willing to work a little for the fun! I asked Taylor if he would lie down on the ground like I was doing. He looked at me and said, “the ground is cold”. Yeah- he was right.. it was cold…
atlanta child photographer
These last few days in Atlanta have been heavenly with such great weather. Our au pair, who is from Thailand, asked if we were now entering Spring. I had to give her the bad news that this warmth and sun would not be here to stay. Luckily, during this session the sun shone brightly!
atlanta child photographer
The sweetest part of this session… how Taylor adores his mom. His mom said she was worried this might be the last year he adores her this much and she wanted to capture that. As a mom of two boys, aged 3 and 6, I know boys are just wonderful with their moms for quite a while. I can’t vouch for past age 6 but i know my 6-year-old is just the most precious, affectionate kid ever!
atlanta child photographer
Happy birthday Taylor and I can’t wait to hear all about that Batman party you told me about.
