Thank you so much to Gary and Kathryn Sturgeon who nominated our winning family this year.

I am looking forward to getting to know the Kelsey family in the new year as I add them to my client list. The Kelsey family has had a very tough last couple of years with two children who have endured much sickness. Gary and Kathryn told me, “The Kelsey family have never stopped fighting for their family and continue to give strength and support to so many other families that they have met along the way.  I don’t know the exact financial situation of the Kelsey family but I know a photo shoot with Libbie Wicket would be a great way for this family to start 2010.  2009 tried to knock them down but through positive attitude, love and prayer they have persevered and are an inspiration to us all.”

What an absolute pleasure it will be to love on this family by providing them with some beautiful portraits for their walls.

On another note, I am looking forward to ringing in 2010 in just a few short hours. Thank you to the Libbie Wicket family of clients who made 2009 a stellar year. I absolutely adore my clients and it is an honor to be involved with each of your families.

Love and Peace to all of you and a Happy 2010~

Elizabeth

winner of Giving is Awesome!

Introducing sweet, cooperative, beautiful little Hailey… Your brother is especially happy you have made your debut!

Having a Christmas baby is really God’s gift to a family. I know… we have one in our house… our sweet Eliza.

This family is one of my favorites to work with. You probably remember me just talking about them a few weeks ago when we did mommies maternity session. They are such a kind hearted, lovely family to spend time with. Going to their house two days before Christmas was no hassle at all! It was such a sweet break in the middle of my mad dash to pull Christmas off.

I could not leave without taking a picture of these gorgeous flowers. Can you believe they were sent by the people mommy works with? I thought they were a great “happy” during these dreary winter days.
Back in touch later tonight with the announcement for the Giving is Awesome contest.

Do you remember this little red head? His family drives from Kentucky for a session each year and I am so thankful and blessed to capture these boys as they grow. I photographed each of the older boys at nine-months of age so it was important to capture baby number three at nine-months too!
You know how I feel about red hair—absolutely looooove it!
Well, not only is he a cutie pie, but a sweetheart, too—what a stellar combination!

It was a little chilly that morning, but Mommy was confidant in her boy’s ability to shine, even if it was a little cold. She was right! He was a star for me and I captured some sweet images of him. His brothers were dressed similarly in their nine-month images leaving little choice for what he was going to wear! Oh, the throws of being the youngest!

Have a Merry little Christmas! I’ll see you this time next year!

number three

Well, it’s down to the final few newborn sessions on my books for the remainder of 2009. I am winding down and looking forward to these next few weeks with my family. We’ve got a vacation planned, a couple more holiday parties, and some good old-fashioned RELAXATION in store! We’re finishing up the last of the orders and getting those off to their rightful owners, and then closing up shop! …Until 2010 of course.

2010? Can you believe it? Well, it’s nearly here and I’m welcoming her with open arms. ☺ So, after tomorrow, I will be officially UNPLUGGED and will return emails, phone calls, texts, or hollers on and after January 5, 2010. If you have an inquiry of any sort, please email me at your most convenient time and expect to hear from me the second week in January.

Look out for my last few blog postings this year…I’ve got a couple of very special clients and newborns coming up and I’m looking forward to sharing their first few days with you. Also, I’ll share some of our family vacation images with you…sure to be a little crazy and cute all at the same time.

My very best to all of you this season! Enjoy!

Lots of love,
Elizabeth

Merry Christmas—straight from the angels! Please welcome a true beauty, little Adeline, only four days old. My gosh she is a doll face! Her snuggly little body, soft cooing noises, and ten little fingers and toes have Mommy and Daddy completely in LOVE! What a lovely gift from above—a child.
Atlanta Newborn Photographer
She is so gently held by her adoring parents as I capture them in a snuggling moment. Oh, the love of a first child. My thoughts on my first-born are still very fresh. The miraculous little being in your arms that flourished from one tiny cell into an amazing child who smiles, breathes, and moves.
Atlanta Newborn Photographer
At four days, Adeline still had on her I.D. bracelet from the hospital. I was the lucky one to cut it off for our session. Probably one of the first things to grace her keepsake box with many momentous items to follow…
Atlanta Newborn Photographer
I rarely see a newborn with blonde hair; most newborns have dark hair on their heads and bodies. Little Adeline’s blonde hair is so cute, especially with a little flip at the ends. My other favorite thing about this image…those wrinkles…I could snuggle with this babe and her little wrinkles for days.
Atlanta Newborn Photographer
What is sweeter than a newly made little foot? Adeline stretched out as often as she could…I bet she kicked quite a bit and is one happy girl to be born and able to let those legs S-T-R-E-T-C-H!

What a wonderful way to spend a very cold winter morning. Thanks so much for a beautiful session!
