I feel so blessed to have this family as not only clients but also as friends and neighbors. For eight years we have lived side by side- with their back yard touching our front yard. Our children were all born around the same time and our families get along so well. It is a treat to live next door to one-another!
Our session started out a little wild….
Little Miss Ansley is 16 months now and that means she is on the go, go, go…… She had no interest in being held, stopping to have her picture taken, or pretty much cooperating in any way. I know all of you mom’s are feeling sympathetic as you read that. We have all been through this stage in our children’s lives. It makes for some challenging months around the house. So, as any good photographer would do, I ignored Ansley for a bit and concentrated on her big brothers.
Meet Garrett… who happens to be the same age as my oldest child. Garrett has blossomed into the happy, good-natured kid he is today. He is fun to be around and he was so good at our session!
This is Collier… the middle child… He and my middle child are just about the same age. I am sure you are getting a good feeling by now on how crazy it might be to have all six of these kids together. Believe it or not, they all play really really well together and it is actually great fun to be together. Collier is sort of serious but in such a sweet, kind way. He is loving with other children and yet can be really silly too!
And finally….. the girl… little Miss Ansley. Isn’t she just so beautiful? I love her eyes and her beautiful long hair. All these babies were born with full heads of hair and Ansley was no exception. Click here to see the pictures from the day after she arrived and all the hair she had then. Such a cute little girl and what a pistol she is. It is hard to tell what is personality and what is her age since she is in that “busy, independent stage” right now. I loved this image of her….
