Are you laughing? We were… How do you get two, two-year-old to hold their three month old sister. It is impossible but we certainly gave it our very best shot. The boys were sweet with her but they are TWO. So, poor little Kendall was poked, elbowed, kissed, hugged, and given lots of two-year-old love. We only left Kendall in this scary place for about a minute. Just long enough for all of us to see how much these brothers adore their little sister.
The boys are really connected in the cool, amazing, twin/sibling way. They are fast to hug and love each other. However, they are equally as fast to shove and push one another.

A year ago this family got the exciting news they would be welcoming baby number three into their lives. What a huge treat it was to find there would be a girl added to this mostly boy family. Now mom will have someone to pal around with when the boys head out for a camping trip or on some other “boy” adventure.

So, let the boys have their time…..

The girls have plenty of better things to do…

a family full…
All of the recent flooding in Atlanta has left my next family in a bit of a pickle. The first floor of their beautiful home was flooded, and they are now in the process of getting everything put back together. Despite being betwixt a home and apartment, the spirit of our session was upbeat and full of thankfulness. There will be a lot of work ahead for them in rebuilding their family home, but you would never know anything happened with the smiles and good nature of Mom and Dad.

This little guy, I swear, was just a newborn yesterday. I photographed he and his family when he was first born and I remember it as though it was last week. Mom and Dad mentioned how fussy he was on the car ride over to our session and expected the worst from him, but he could not have been more charming to work with! Those little ones keep you on your toes, don’t they?

Caroline is one sweet girl! I have photographed her since she was about nine months old, and I enjoy watching her grow into a very gracious young girl. Her big, beautiful eyes smile big for me each time I see her.

I don’t think Mom intended on using these super cute jackets, but I had to have them in the photographs. They look so soft and cuddly, I could not resist.
