Yesterday Slaton’s class had a field trip to St. Angelo’s Pizza in Vinings. This is a favorite spot of our families to go have pizza. I was excited to be able to be there to see Slaton and all of his classmates making their own pizzas!

When I walked in the kids had already been seated and they were decorating their hats and coloring on their placemats. I love the way Slaton writes his name right now now. I know, as a gal with a masters in education, that he needs to begin writing it in capital and lowercase. However, I also know that will come soon and this baby writing will be a thing of the past.

Each child got their own small circle of dough, a bit of marinara sauce, and some cheese. The children actually got to make their very own individual pizza. Slaton said it was very yummy!

The best part for all the kids and the parents was getting to hang out socially with friends. Slaton adores this little girl in his class!

He also adores his teacher!

Most of all though, he loves his mommy and his mommy absolutely thinks he is the best little guy ever!

Thanks to Saint Angelo’s Pizza for a wonderful morning and for teaching all the children how to cook their own pizzas!

pizza field trip

I love newborns itty bitty and so sleepy. This little fella was zonked out for the first hour of our session. He snuggled up to his mommy and daddy and moved any way we posed him!

This little guy is welcomed into a family that clearly is so loving and sweet. He has a big brother who is just beginning to adjust to life with a baby. I hope that next time I will get the opportunity to photograph big brother C. and little brother M.

This little guys was a bit over 5 pounds when he arrived… just a little peanut. Both of my boys were in the 5 pound range at birth so I certainly have a soft spot for the small newborn!

Thanks M. family for a great session!
