These girls are just my kind of girls! They were both fun-loving, happy, enthusiastic, silly and sweet! Both of these girls are adopted from China and there are only months separating them in age. They’re in the same grade at school and for most of the year… they are the same age.
I had fun asking both the girls and mom how it is to be so close in age to your sibling. In my house, Shipley and Eliza are just two months apart. They too will be in the same grade throughout their school years. I can’t wait to see what the dynamics will be with two children in the same grade who are so close in age but who are not biological twins. The psychology of it all intrigues me.
Clearly these girls adore one another and get along very well. Mom said that they hardly ever fight and that they are each others best friends. I pray it will be the same for my two as they get a little older.

These hats came from a recent family trip to Opryland USA! I thought both girls had the sass and spirit to pull them off!

Love this of both girls together!

Finally, I really really wanted to be sure we got a few with mom and the girls. Life goes so quickly and I think it is very important for us, as moms, to have pictures of our children with us.

Thanks girls for such a fun afternoon together!!!!
