This mom and dad were so welcoming that I felt at home the minute I walked into their house! Can I tell you how darling both of these children are? Big brother B. was full of wonderful information about transformers, cars, and movies! But what does he really love…

his sister!

Guess who else adores this little girl? Her mommy, of course! I know first hand how wonderful it is to have a girl in the house. Just the bows alone are fun, fun, fun!

Daddy was not sure if he wanted to be in any of the pictures… but how could I resist getting a few of the two boys playing together!

These eyelashes are incredible! I am always envious when I see children with such lovely lashes! I personally love the hand in her mouth. It is the absolute stage she is in right now. I believe my role as a photographer is to capture the now… to capture the way you will look back and remember your child in the months and years to come!

sweet little gal!

Yes, she is! Have you ever seen such cuteness in such a wee little body?

I am sure you would never guess that she is a very happy little gal!

I was especially fond of her in all her very fancy clothes… like her Baptism dress.

I could not decide which of all these images I liked best. There were about 6 of them that are all similar with different expressions. How can you pick just one?

Here is one of my favorites from the session…

Thank you so much H. for spending your afternoon with me. It was a pleasure!

Why do I often talk about how much I adore certain clients? Well, the obvious answer is that I really honestly feel that way, but the truth is there is something much deeper. Most of my clients return to me again and again to photograph their children. Over time my clients and I watch in amazement as their children grow and milestones are achieved. We celebrate and praise God in the happiest of moments when a new sibling arrives. Occasionally, we shed tears together as one of their children suffers from a sickness or he does not reach the milestones he should. We share stories of our lives and what makes each of us who we are. We become friends… not just friendly…but really friends.

All of the above is the case with this client. I first met her when big girl E. had just turned one. Without sharing to much of this families story, it is fair to say that they have walked a very hard road over the past years. This mother is amazing in her faith and she continues to be a pillar to me through some tough times I have had. I love them all so much and I am proud to call them friends.

Believe it or not…. this is R.’s one-year-session… He is a very big baby and the cutest thing ever!!!

Here is big sister Emma telling me all about Geenger and Miles, her imaginary friends. They both came home with me and she was letting me know how many vitamins they would each need!

E’s beautiful room…. love the portraits!

By the time we photographed them together they were both over the session. However, they are still really cute!

Your title is so fitting, as you really have made our house feel like a home with all the wonderful images of our children hanging as our artwork. Your eye for the moment and for each child’s personality is incredible. Thank you for giving us this gift that you share and most importantly the gift of your friendship. 1 Corinthians 12:7 “To each person the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the benefit of all.” Feb 06th, 2009, 12:02AM

It is always a joy to walk through a client’s front door and be greeted by a beautiful display.

I was so excited about photographing baby P. at six months and it was a delightful reminder to me of how much he has grown since our last session.

I love photographing 6-month-old babies. It is my very favorite age to capture with newborn age being a very close second. At six months children are starting to display so much personality!

Guess how many times little P. cried during our session? NONE!!! He is one really happy little fella (even with outfit changes, being naked, putting on silly hats, going outside in the cold….etc….)!

Can you tell how unbelievably adored this child is by his parents?

Finally, a favorite…. can you see the itty bitty teeth? So cute…..
