Sadly, my nanny had a death in her family this week. She needed some time off to be with her family and attend the funeral. Because of this, I have juggled my schedule this week and am behind on returning some e-mails and phone calls. If you are waiting to hear back from me on ANYTHING please do not hesitate to call me or send me another e-mail. I have tried to stay organized but I am sure something has slipped by.

Also, it has certainly been the month of canvas’. How can one resist? The sale is so FAB and I am thrilled so many of you are taking advantage of it! I love this kid already…. seriously… he is so doggone adorable and he is so laid back. No crying except when his tummy needed a little refilling. Can you blame him? Darling….so darling…..

His Mommy and I have known each other for about 25 or so years. She and my younger sister were classmates at Lovett and have remained close friends ever since. A. also was my babysitter for a while when Shipley was a wee little fella. I was incredibly honored when she asked me to photograph her first child. A. is one of the most sincere, sweet, brilliantly smart, attractive women I know. No wonder little Mr. A. is so fabulous at just 6 days of age.

This little fella is, believe it or not, 6 DAYS old. He was born at over eight pounds with this beautiful, full head of hair. He is such a unique, handsome little guy already. He was born to two doctors and dad has hopes for Harvard and mom has hopes for Hollywood. I think he might just do both! He already seemed to be smart beyond his days. He is the first newborn EVER to neither pee nor poop during his newborn session. Mom, Dad and I all really appreciated his wisdom concerning that.

About 16 months ago I was honored to be invited to be the photographer for Due Maternity in Vinings. I put up my display and began a wonderful relationship with the owners and employees at Due. If you have never been into Due to shop- please let me tell you why you should. Well, back up, first off, you should probably be pregnant or have someone pregnant that you are buying for. After that…. head to Due. You will be treated like a queen as you look for clothes. Due is the kind of store you can walk into and say, "help me find an outfit for"…. (whatever occasion you need something for). I love stores like that. The staff is so helpful and warm and they totally know their clothes. In fact, when I was in there last week, Heather (the owner) pulled out this red shirt and said, "Isn’t this shirt just incredible?" Well, I looked at it and honestly thought "Well, I am not sure" but she is the expert. So, we put it on Teri and WOW!!!! See the image below to see how fabulous this shirt (and Teri) are! 

Anyway, back in August, the owners of Due asked me if I would display my images in their Buckhead store. I was so excited but I knew I could not pull it together in the middle of my busy season. Heather and Courtney were sweet enough to wait for me to pull it together in January. So, below you will see images from the Buckhead store. Thank you to several of you who will recognize your little ones on the wall! Without you….. there would be no display….

Not sure why, but this time of the year seems to always be filled with lots of pregnancy and newborn sessions. It is so fun for me. I really consider my specialty working with newborns, so I am equally as thrilled to have a maternity session since it means the newborn will be here soon!
When this mom opened the door to greet me, I was so happy. Look how beautiful she is! She was so easy to pose and her lighthearted, sweet spirit made working with her a pleasure.

To open my e-mail to the message below. This e-mail is from one of my clients who sent it one of her friends who is looking for a photographer. A. forwarded it on to me so I would know how she feels about me and my business. It touched my heart and I asked her if I could share it with you guys.
