Happy one year little Miss Cece! C. is the daughter of one of my very favorite friends. V. was actually a client of mine (several years ago) and then became a good friend, a great friend, and now one of my very closest friends. As we have been through some of lives ups and downs together- our friendship has grown! Our oldest boys are good buddies and we try to get the together whenever we can. Life has become complicated for both of us as we try to balance multiple children, working full time and being good wives. We have to work at keeping in touch but it is so worth the effort we both put in. Okay- enough about V. and me… enjoy her beautiful C. who is ONE!

Six months is a very favorite age for me to photograph. Typically the babies are sitting and smiling and not moving at this age. It is certainly a sweet time in a babies development.

Little A. was no exception. She was laughing and silly and full of smiles. Just a ton of fun! Don’t these images make you smile right back at her?

Valentines is one of my favorite holidays of the year. It is the one time of year that we are all reminded to show our love. For a few years now I have done picture valentines for my little guy to give to his class. However, I also like to send out some to family and friends just to remind them that we love them. It has been a long week for me and I am so sorry I have not really posted much. I woke up Monday with an out of whack back!!!! I was in lots of pain up until today. I went to the chiropractor several times as well as to the massage therapist twice. Luckily I only had a few sessions booked for the week and I was able to move them to next week. I really cannot imagine how people live with chronic pain! Anyway, I am feeling quite a bit better today and ready to get 2008 going!
Lots of you have e-mailed and called to ask about the studio happenings… and I am sad to report that the outlook is dim. We have been negotiating and it seems that we may not reach a resolution. Honestly, the business condos in this complex are not selling and we have now figured out why. I will not go into more detail but to say that they desperately could use an agent to help represent them. So, the hunt continues for now. My husband will meet an agent on Monday and we will begin looking elsewhere. I am curious to know where you guys would like to see me located….  I am looking from mid-town to downtown Smyrna and all in between. However, I need to be close to my children, since they are all so young, and I need to be in a location where all of you find me convenient. I know I can’t please everyone but i would love your feedback. Please drop me a line if you have time…
Finally, I am posting a few I Phone images from the new year. They are all my little Slaton and his trip to the ER. He fell RUNNING up the stairs. 5 stitches later we were in good shape….

By the time we got to the hospital, Slaton was actually doing really well.

One of my favorite babies turned one this week! All her family came to help her celebrate. It’s fun to be one!!!

Of course this baby will be smart (and well educated) …. both his parents are doctors! This baby will also have beautiful blue eyes… look at his mom and dad.

This was a delightful couple to work with. Mom and Dad were both so accommodating with me moving items all over the house. They are a very sweet, down to earth couple and I look forward to a long relationship with them!
