to out trick little boys. Precious little A. is very attached to his red stroller. He takes it everywhere, according to his mom. It only made sense that he would need to have it with him for pictures. I love the stroller and felt it was very important to have some of his pictures with the stroller ("baby" as he calls it) but not all of them. Mom will look back and love the memory of this special time with this attachment but she will also want some without the stroller. Mom was so cool and laid back- she totally "got me" and my style and was not worried if "baby" was in every picture. However, I have two little fellas of my own and I know that a little distraction will go a long way with boys. So, mom, here are some images for you with no "baby" in them… wait for the gallery to see some of "baby" and A.

are so much fun. I know, my nephews are identical twins. They are loud, adorable, into everything, and very connected to one another. These little girls are already forming personalities and you can easily see how comfortable they are in each others personal space. They are four months and getting bigger by the minute. Big brother A. is proud of his sisters but he is also trying hard to figure out where his new place in the family is. He was so loving with the girls and he will be a great, protective brother to them!

Identical twins

CUTE!!! This little fella is only a week younger than my little Eliza. He, like Eliza, is coming up with lots of sounds and words for what he wants. He had the cutest word for bubbles (which I cannot even attempt to sound spell here) and he was awesome at signing the word please. He is a very smart little fella and obviously the object of both mommies and daddies pride and love.

Learning to talk is so

I love parks- especially at this time of year. I love the beautiful light that seeps between the trees, I love the perfect backdrops they produce, and most of all I love the happiness the children feel from being in a park. Introducing the S. children. Last year, when I photographed them, Miss E. was still looking like a child. Now she is tall and confident and I see small glimpses of what will become a teenager way too soon. Little Mr. N is a boys boy. He is full of mischief but a little cautious of the world. E. was jumping in puddles and quickly moving through the water while N. stood to the side and just barely dipped his feet in. Just like my children, each child has a very different personality.

Life at the park

Look who is sitting up… baby J. At the beginning of the session, Mom and Dad told me Baby J. is sitting "just a little". However, I think he surprised all of us by sitting up really well. Mom and Dad share my passion for getting away to the mountains any time there is a break in the grind. Their mountain home is close to our mountain home and I hope one day we might all get together up in our little escape corner of the world!

Baby Anna :: Old Blog

My good friend and neighbor gave birth to a beautiful baby girl about three weeks ago. Sadly, she was born as my family and I  were trying to get out of town for vacation and I could not photograph her immediately. Typically, I try to go to the hospital to photograph my friend’s babies. I believe that the newer the newborn the better! Anyway, I missed this baby when she was first born. So, my neighbor was sweet enough to drop her off with me and let me "play" with her for an hour. I really wanted to capture those "newborn" images. This baby looks amazingly so much like her older sister and brother….

If you are booked with me for newborn images in the upcoming months.. I will be bringing this cap and blanket. I just had it made and I LOVE it. Anna was my first baby to try it out on!
