What is it with these big babies? Please welcome another 9 pound pus baby into the world. Here is baby V… I had just finished his big brother’s one-year-old session two months ago…. Do you think Mom will be a little busy now?

This cute couple is expecting their first child in the next few weeks. I could absolutely feel the excitement in their home. The nursey is almost complete and mommy is feeling more than ready for her to arrive. It is easy to tell that these parents will be so wonderfully excited to bring their baby home.
This little beauty has been showered with love. Mom told me about the unbelievable baby shower that was thrown for her prior to baby A.s arrival. Numerous times mom said, "this baby is so blessed". She certainly is… not just blessed with gifts but blessed with love. Mom and Dad are adoring and it is obvious that this mom and dad’s life will never be the same now that love has taken hold of them.
I know some of you will recognize this little girl. She is the beautiful little girl in the tutu with the polka dot rain boots on my web site. That popular image was taken when she was three (a year ago) but now she is four. Yes, she told me she is four several times. 
She will be going to "big girl school" beginning this week. Oh my- an adjustment for little G. and for Mommy.
Can you believe I have photographed two 9.5 pound babies in the past month? They were two of my easiest newborns to photograph too! I think it must be because they are so big they can go longer without nursing and they really fill their bellies when they do eat. Who knows.. but this little guy was just FUN! You will remember this mommy from her ice cream eating maternity portraits about 2 months ago. It was such an honor to be able to photograph baby L. on day 5 of his life.
