is right here. Seriously, I fell in love with this little guy. Each time I open up his images I say, "this is the most darling child." and whoever is in the room rushes over and ohs and aaaahs!  This family was a blast to work with and of course little N. has become one of my  favorite children to photograph!!!

photographing these expecting moms! Here is my sneak peek for the girls I met Saturday at Due Maternity. ALL of the girls were beautiful and were so easy to work with.  I personally think that pregnancy is such an incredible, gorgeous time for a woman and I felt honored to be asked to capture this moment for these women.

I cannot even imagine being married for 50 years. Actually, my in-laws have been married close to that long but I still cannot imagine it! Here is the perfect example of a couple who, I am sure,  has weathered many a storm together.
I thought it was so sweet  that their daughter purchased a session with me to have the grandchildren all photographed together as a gift for them. However, the grandparents insisted on coming along and seeing the grandchildren photographed. I know mom was a little disappointed that the surprise of the pictures would not happen. However, the good part was that the grandparents were willing to step in the photos and we were able to get lots of pictures of them with their grandchildren.
My favorite part of the session might have been this precious three-year-old holding her seven week old brother. She did such a good job holding him and I was loving the emotion between the two of them.

This is a family who I had my first session with about a year ago. I LOVED this family from the first moment I met them and I was thrilled when the mom called for another session. Mommy K. was so excited because just two weeks before the session little C. started to walk. Yippee- she would be walking for the portraits. Only problem- that was all C. wanted to do. She was so proud of her walking that there was no stopping her for a moment. What to do….
Luckily, I had brought a little stool to this session. I am not sure why I brought it and carried it all the way down the trail (normally I would not have) but this day I did. Guess what the saving grace of the day was? THE STOOL! For whatever reason, C. was willing to stay when we put her on the stool. So, you will notice lots of these images have THE STOOL in them. I am not a "proppy" kind of photographer but occasionally the prop saves the day.
S. and K. … I hope you are sitting on the front porch of the beach house, looking out over the ocean, and enjoying these images of your beautiful little C.

Meet my fun girls from today…

Big sister C. warmed right up to me and was my helper as I photographed her little sister.  C. is fascinated by the princesses and she told me all about Cinderella. We took a walk around the outside of the house and found the greatest stream, some swings, and an awesome big old stump! It was a photographers candy shop. I enjoyed spending my morning with the B. girls!

This last picture cracks me up. I was trying to convince big sister C. to sit with A. She refused and instead gave me her back to look at. However, the minute she finally turned around, I was right there waiting on her. So, I actually got the picture anyway….  C. obviously does not know that I have three kids and I know all the tricks.
