What an odd morning it was on Tuesday. When the S. family arrived for their session, it was so cold that I could see my breath. There was frost covering the ground and all in the trees. As we hiked down the trail, we could hear the snapping of the ice as it was cracking and falling to the ground. For about an hour, it felt like winter. It was really cold but the girls were troopers. We pulled off their coats and started photographing…. blue lips and red noses at times. However, mom and dad were quick to rush in and share some body heat so they could keep going. On our way back up the path- a BIG deer ran right in front of us. Mom and I did not notice because we were to busy talking. However, Dad saw it and pointed him out to us in the woods. It was a clear sign to me that I need some time in the N. GA mountains soon…… It was a really fun morning with the S. family… Thanks so much!
