I am overdoing it this week. I am not sure why but I let myself get way overbooked. So, I am waning in energy and I know in 8 hours I have another session. So, I hope that these images will speak to you like they speak to me. Tonight my images will have to be stronger than my words. :)
Meet little L. who is the cutest little girl. She reminded me lots of my little Shipley. The beautiful blond hair and big blue eyes… Shipley has met his match.
Enjoy…..

Speaking loudly through images

I am in proofing trouble with this session. Not only was this little girl darling looking but her personality was just as cute. This was my first time meeting little G. and her family but I immediately felt right at home with them. It is funny how you sometimes easily connect with people and yet with others it is hard to have a warm fuzzy relationship. I often wonder what it is that makes two people click. I am not really talking about male/female love relationships but mostly about friendships.
Sorry, my thoughts are wandering and I must be nearing bedtime. Anyway, I had so many wonderful expressions that narrowing down the images to show was so tough. I actually called G.’s mommy today and asked if it is okay with her if I send her a gallery that is really too big. She told me to send it on-
T., look for the gallery in your in-box tomorrow and thanks for such a  laid back, fun session!

Finally…. :: Old Blog

Meet another one of my very favorite clients. Her husband called me a year ago and booked little C.’s newborn session. I rarely have Dads call me so I am always impressed when the dad initiates the session. When I went to their house I knew immediately that this family is really special. Mom and Dad were the cutest couple and so in love with C. We had lots of fun that morning a year ago.

Since then we have seen each other many times and it now seems as if we have been friends for such a long time. This session was for C.’s one year but in all honesty we are a little past the real date. This session had to be re-scheduled several times due to sickness and weather. It was awesome to finally be able to get together.

Congratulations to little C. who will very soon be welcoming a sibling into this world. Little does he know how much his life will change. The good thing is that C. will never remember life without his little brother. Good thing mom and dad will have the portraits to prove that for a short time C. was an only child. :)

Finally….

I fell in love with this dress!

Parents ask me all the time what kind of clothes they should dress their child in for the session. A conservative, solid outfit is great for a timeless portrait. However, I love when I have a parent mix it up some and put their child in something funky and fun. This dress was AWESOME! I love the colors, the texture, and the the style. Best of all, little N. showed her spunk in her dress. She was darling!!!!

I wish so much I could tell you the name of this baby. The name is unusual, beautiful, unique, and classy. Hmmm- hopefully you too will be lucky enough to meet this family one day and find out baby D.’s name. Any of you who know my children- know I love unusual names!

So, this family is just plain fun. I was met by this HUGE dog when I arrived at the front door. Daddy took the dog for a walk and when they returned home- the music downstairs started blaring. No, not blaring some inappropriate adult-type music… It was blaring  The Music Class cd. In our house we are big advocates of  The Music Class – my oldest son has attended since he was 6 months old. Anyway, big brother and Daddy hung out downstairs just jamming out. At that moment I thought, "I totally dig this family."

On a side note…

If you are waiting on your gallery from last week to be sent… tomorrow is the day. I will be calling all my clients from last week to set up appointments for you to come meet with me next week. Talk to you guys tomorrow!!!!

A How absolutely lovely this family is. The mom and dad both work for a local airline and they are obviously in love with their little princess. Mom and I were able to talk some about photography and art. I loved seeing their house filled with art that Mom has created. This was a really fun session for me!
