I loooove this family.┬áMom and Dad are always so laid back and easy going. Big brother is a smart, rambunctious little guy and little sister is a sweetie. And her hair? I just can't. Talk about volume! Whew, honey! Is it weird to have hair envy towards a one year old? Anway, another year has flown by. I haven't gotten a chance to snuggle many newborns over the last few months. Only a handful of new babes were welcomed into the arms of my lovely clients this summer. I was very happy to meet this special little guy. I've said it before, but the joy and rawness of a new baby to first time parents is just so special. It's such a magical/vulnerable/exhausting/wonderful/surreal time in a parent's life and it's not really something that can truly be put in to words. I love being able to document those fleeting newborn days before they are a distant memory. I'm so honored that┬áthis family appreciated my work … :: MORE ::

Many of you know that adoption is something I am extremely passionate about! A little adoption fact: If only 8% of Christians would each adopt ONE child, we would have no orphans left. While I realize that will likely not happen, I do absolutely believe that God calls us to care for both the widow and the orphan. Not everyone feels the calling to adopt but I hope that each of you will support a family or an organization that works on behalf of the orphan.
